Global Impact: David & Simon Reuben: The brothers, once owners of a successful metals company, continue to be prominent figures in the real estate, venture capital, and business community in the U.K. They started the Reuben Foundation with an initial $100 million donation in October 2002. The foundation, which focuses on projects in the areas of health care and education, made a substantial donation to create the Reuben Foundation Children's Cancer Centre at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
