She isn’t normally one to show off her moves on the dance floor but Princess Beatrice found herself being twirled and dipped by an enthusiastic party goer at a charity ball on Thursday. The royal attended the Adventure in Wonderland Ball in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, and was one of the first of the celeb guest list to make use of the dancefloor.

Joining a star-studded line-up at Bridgewater House in London, Beatrice looked pretty in royal blue, showing off her legs in a printed mini skirt.

The princess reaffirmed her royal status by opting for a pretty royal blue ensemble for the charity night in the capital, organised by the Reuben Foundation.

The 25-year-old history graduate teamed a blue silk top with a white Peter Pan collar and cuffs with a pleated navy mini and a matching clutch bag.

Beatrice completed her look with black tights and heels while adding a touch of glamour to her otherwise fairly plain ensemble with a dazzling diamond statement necklace.

Beatrice was soon showing off her legs in the mini skirt as she was taking for a spin around the dance floor by an eager male pal. Whilst not quite as enthusiastic as her dungaree-clad dance partner, Beatrice managed to plaster on a big smile as she showed off her moves on the otherwise empty dance floor.

At one point the princess was even dipped on the checkered dance floor, with her distinctive red locks cascading behind her.

The daring move saw Beatrice’s hairband fly off though as she tried her best to keep her smile on her face throughout the energetic moves.

After a quick thank you hug for her friend, Beatrice, a long term supporter of Great Ormond Street, got down to business as she gave a speech in front of the star-studded audience.
