Big Hearts for Little People

31 January 2019

On Sunday 31 January guests and their families attended The Valentine’s Party, Big Hearts for Little People event at Lindley Hall, Vincent Square to help raise vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

London families attended the special Valentine’s themed party, with money raised going towards the hospital’s redevelopment programme, helping to replace cramped, outdated wards with modern, state-of-the-art facilities, specifically helping the hospital’s young cardiac patients. The redevelopment will provide space where a parent or carer can stay by their child’s bedside when they really need them most.

The Valentine’s Party, Big Hearts for Little People was organised and attended by a committee of the charity’s dedicated supporters led by Sayoko Teitelbaum and Samantha Bauer, including; Maryam Akhavan, Alys Garman, Nicole Gazal O’Neil, Deana Goldstein, Patricia Haimes, Shona Hampel, Elizabeth Hawtin, Bianca Ladow, Patty Ladow, Leila Moghadam, Louise Redknapp, Lisa Reuben and Saskia Winbergh.

The very special party included child-friendly activities such as arts and crafts, biscuit decorating, t-shirt printing, coding, cap decorating and much more. There was also an exclusive opportunity for adult party-goers to bid on the luxury silent auction, buy raffle tickets and pledge towards funding portable heart monitors. Guests also had the opportunity to purchase the limited edition ’Heart Ribbon’ Edie Parker bag. The exclusive clutch is heart-shaped in red pearlescent with gold confetti sides and features a hinge closure with a kiss-lock. The beautifully handcrafted piece is available to purchase online, with all profits going towards Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
