In June 2024 a formal reception and dinner was held to mark the grand opening of Reuben College Oxford. Attended by The Chancellor Lord Patten, the Vice Chancellor Prof Irene Tracey, former Vice-Chancellor Dame Louise Richardson, along with the President of Reuben College, Professor Lord Lionel Tarassenko as well as members of the Reuben family, the dinner was held in the Simon & David Reuben Dining Hall within Reuben College.
